Paula Scher (Pentagram) and Julia Hoffman (MoMA’s Creative Director for Graphics and Advertising) recently redesigned MoMA’s graphic identity, which (thankfully) keeps Matthew Carter’s work in tact. Carter transformed MoMA’s previous identity, which was set in Franklin Gothic No.2, into “MoMA Gothic” back in 2004… read about it here.
